If you suspect your home to be haunted, this page contains information that may help you in your decision whether or not to have it investigated:

First things first, try to look for a logical explaination as to why you're having experiences. Obviously, if you see a ghost sitting on your couch, you can't dismiss that with a logical answer, but sometimes an event like hearing odd noises can be explained away by appliances or something that naturally occurs. 9 times out of 10, there is usually something environmental or man-made causing the "activity".

However, if you absolutely can not dismiss the experiences you're having, you should consider having an experienced group come in to document what's going on. That's where OPES comes in. OPES prides ourselves on using state of the art equipment that is constantly being modified and updated to better assist our clients. We use a stringent review process. We pride ourselves on the fact that we adhere to STRICT guidelines to document paranormal happenings.

The number one reason why people turn away from having a professional group come in to document activity is they are afraid that a team will "stir things up" or "anger the ghosts". OPES does not use provocation as a technique, we enter with the utmost respect for any entity that may be present and with respect to the clients feelings. We have NEVER had a client contact us and inform us that after our investigation activity became worse. Fact is, there are many factors that increase activity in a home and having a SERIOUS investigation usually is not one of them. Do not be fearful in having an experienced group conduct an investigation... but choose wisely.

Bottom line is this: It's your home, it's your life being affected by this.   OPES is willing to spend the time to talk to you, explain our methods, and answer any of your questions. We want to be sure you feel completely comfortable having us perform your investigation.

We hope this helps assist you in making a decision to have an investigation. If you need more information feel free to contact us via our "Questions?" page. If you have already had an investigation completed and were not happy with the evidence or would like us to look over any evidence you may have collected, you can also contact us via that link as well.
