OPES only accepts investigators looking to study and document paranormal activity through the use of technology. Our cases and evidence are deemed confidental unless otherwise noted. All evidence collected on an OPES investigation is considered OPES evidence regardless of the capturing member's current or future status with the group. Personal experiences can be logged but are not considered evidence alone. All evidence and logs are expected to be turned in to the Lead Investigators for examination no more than one week following the investigation date. Our investigators are expected to maintain a professional attitude under any and all circumstances and refrain from the use of alcohol and/or drugs. Our investigators will sign a waiver form releasing not only the group, but our clients as well, from damage to equipment and injuries to their person. Our investigators work on a volunteer basis and will not receive any compensation for time and travel including donations. OPES reserves the right to revoke membership based on breaking the mentioned guidelines above, the official guidelines listed on the private group site, the guidelines listed on the waiver and release form, or any reason or action deemed inappropriate by the Lead Investigators.
Upon acceptance, there will be an Investigator Trainee period (regardless of experience) that will last until the Lead Investigators are comfortable with the success of said training period.
